Origin: Hereke rugs come from the town of Hereke in Turkey, historically produced for Ottoman Places.
Material: Finest quality pure silk, often with extremely high knot density.
Knotting: among the finest in the world. Sometimes exceeding 1,000 knots, per square inch in exceptional pieces. This rug is considered as one of the best ones.
Age: This rug is around 60 to 70 years old and is signed by Master Weaver.
Design: Garden of Paradise.
