Turkish super-fine Hereke
Semi Antique Turkish superfine Hereke silk on silk rug with vegetable dyes and design depicts “The Garden of Paradise”.
Dyes used in this rug are extra ordinary and flow through the rug. This rug would be ideal for hanging of a wall or stairway. This rug is unique, unfortunately photos don’t do it justice. Got to be seen to get that true feeling.
Number of knots in this rug is the highest which Hereke produces.

Better prices as well.Our removalists damaged a couple of rugs and Bijan were more than happy to provide advice on repairs and to arrange repairs and collection / delivery . . . at reasonable prices.We aren’t in a position to buy rugs at the moment but will certainly consider them when we are furnishing our new place.

Bijan has a beautiful and huge selection of rugs. We have bought two - one Afghan old rug and a modern Pakistani rug with Persian designs. They are lovely and have changed the feel of our house. He also organised a clean and repair of fraying edges on an old Afghan rug of ours, which was done very well. I recommend his shop for his knowledge and expertise in these lovely rugs, and for his courteous hospitality.
